BOLD Grounds Coffee Co. is Texas’s only micro batch coffee company. They roast to order which means that when a customer places an order, BOLD roasts only their coffee instead of roasting a big batch and dividing it up between customers. This results in customers getting the absolute freshest roasted coffee possible. Currently, the only place to find them is online. We chatted with the company – read below:
Why get started with BOLD?
The number one reason to get started with BOLD Grounds Coffee Co. is because we dedicate our resources to ensuring that every bag of coffee that we sell is roasted to the exact level that will let you experience everything that particular bean has to offer. We roast only single origin beans, meaning we do not blend cheap beans with a little bit of quality beans to get some flavor for a better cost to us. We refuse to take shortcuts and promise to work harder for the customer in order to keep our promise of roasted for you. The other guys will take some orders and roast up a batch then divide it out between everyone, but not us. When we fire up our roaster, we fire it up for only you.
What is your primary market? Looking online, it looks like there is a big market for businesses and restaurants.
Our market is split between consumers and businesses. We currently provide our fresh roasted coffee to some businesses in Lubbock and take the same care in roasting for their customers as we do our own.
As an individual, would I just subscribe or buy an individual bag? Is it then shipped?
We welcome the individual that just wants a bag every now and then as well as celebrate the ones that enjoy having the freshest roast of coffee available at all times by subscribing to our coffee club. We do ship nationwide and have a good amount of customers spread throughout Texas, New Mexico, Colorado & have recently seen an increase of interest in Tennessee. We are currently working on the logistics of offering free delivery to the Lubbock area.
