We have a special guest writer today! Linda Mason is the owner of Gateau de Jil. She opened her business in 2020 and expanded in 2021. Inspired by the Great British Baking Show, Linda began experimenting with different textures & styles of cheesecakes. She found the French style to be her favorite! Gateau cheesecakes are the talk of the town. They are fantastic (shhh better than a famous competitor down the road).

Bonjour! My name is Linda Mason and I am the owner of Gateau de Jil Frenchstyle Cheesecakes. In July, I would have been officially open to the public for a year. I am a female owned business and operate out of the Culinary Co Op! Culinary Co Op is a shared kitchen that allows my business space to be a storefront inside of a storefront.
Gateau offers a very unique still of cheesecake. A traditional cheesecake is more dense, full of flavor in the top! Gateau’s cheesecakes are creamier and because of the way it is cooked, it allows flavor to flow through the cake. With every bite, you’ll enjoy the flavor of the cake without an over abundance of sugar.
We also offer many varieties of cheesecakes and flavors. We want to appeal to as many as we can. So while our traditional bakes and flavors appeal to the sweeter tooth, our KETO (Gluten Free/Sugar Free) offers appeal to our healthier audience. But for those who are not a fan of sugar, but loves cheese, we offer a savory line! From Pepperoni bites to Lavender BlackBerry Cheesecake stuffed strawberries, we offer all sorts of cheesecake goodness. Plan a time to stop by and try some out!!
