What to Expect: These have been such fun classes! The hosts will have everything for you including the liquor/wine/beer (depending on your class), syrup from Raider West Farms, fruits, shaker, jigger, rim salt/sugar, ice, & other goodies! The first 20-30 minutes of class is learning a bit more about the art of making cocktails along with some tips & tricks. You will then get to create & enjoy three different cocktails. Combine, shake, pour, & make your cocktails pretty with lavender, dehydrated lemons/lime, or whatever else is provided for you! Another surprise was the syrup tasting. Try a variety of syrups that are available for purchase at the end of class. These are great for cocktails, mocktails, tea, and coffee.
Raider West Lavender Farm: Grows several different varieties of culinary lavender. The lavender has a subtly sweet, citrus flavor, and doesn’t have an overabundance of camphor-like scent in its oils which can be overpowering in food and beverages, often leaving a strong after taste. They have a variety of syrups including hibiscus, lavender cranberry, lavender lemon, lavender peach, lavender vanilla, mint, rose, & rosemary. They all have a variety of oils & vinegars, sugars, garnishes, rimmers, mixes, & gift boxes. Shop here and check out all of the delicious recipes.
Preslea Thompson Bartending: Preslea & her team are the go-to bartending service for all of your events! They are TABC certified & insured. Preslea is very knowledgeable and professional. She will work with you to create a custom cocktail menu to fit your needs. She also offers a frozen drink machine that is available for rental. It includes everything! We also highly suggest adding mimosa flights to your next brunch event. Very impressive set-up. Check out Preslea Thompson Bartending here.
