If you aren’t sure what to expect, think Chipotle. They both serve up southwestern type tacos, burritos, and quesadillas.
Our first experience was a good one. The space is a decent size with several tables and booths to meet your needs. When you first walk in you can grab a paper menu or just take a look at the display with your options. You order at the counter through a line. The whole concept is build your own. Your options are white vs wheat, pico de gallo salsa vs roasted corn salsa vs salsa verde vs fiery habanero, black vs pinto beans, etc. Next up: cilantro rice? Guacamole? Veggies? Chicken or Beef? You can make your burrito, quesadilla, tacos, or bowl as healthy as you would like. You can also pick from their menu of signature recipes.
My preference was a wheat burrito with cheese, chicken, cilantro rice, and the mild salsa on the side. I also grabbed some chips, queso, and a soft drink. Qdoba has one one of those fancy touch screen soda fountains. The queso was probably my favorite part of the whole meal. It tasted a bit like broccoli and cheese soup, but there was something that really drew me to it.
